Louis Tomlinson, Dare to Dream
#this quote single-handedly ruined my life #YOU DIDN’T EVEN KNOW EACH OTHER YET #and betsy reminded me that louis only gave himself a 5% chance of making it through #but he had so much faith in harry that he got a picture and an autograph #and it wasn’t even necessarily about the singing #like i’m sure louis loves harry’s voice #but he said ‘because i knew he was going to be famous’ #like he just KNEW from the beginning that he had that spark #that makes harry styles so goddam special #and then ‘i gave him a hug and told him not to worry’ oh my god i can’t handle any of this #like he was able to tell how nervous harry got performing #he was already his rock #and ALSO can i just shove this quote in the face of anyone who says louis’ a dick #or arrogant #HARRY WAS TWO YEARS YOUNGER THAN HIM #AND HIS COMPETITION #and he didn’t feel bitter about being (in his mind) less talented #he gave him a HUG and told him not to WORRY because he knew he’d be FINE #stop the world i want to get off

What’s going on between Eleanor and Harry? Confused about the elevator story? Don’t worry, I got you. (:
Today uncovered a whole new load of suspicion from the fandom due to excessive tea and cake tweeting on Eleanor’s special day. BUT that is a whole ‘nother post. Let’s focus on Haz & Eleanor.
Suspicion number one … if they were “good friends” and he “introduced Louis and Eleanor,” why didn’t he greet her a happy birthday? He doesn’t even follow her on Twitter?
- If you were to set up someone with your best friend, wouldn’t you make sure the girl was someone you knew and truly believed was a good match for him? It’s not like Harry would just pick up a random girl off the street all like, “I now pronounce you Mrs. Tomlinson. Come with me.”
- So the logical conclusion is that well they weren’t friends. And it was management who picked up a random girl
off the streetoff the local Hollister.Suspicion number two … the alleged elevator story.
Here’s what apparently went down: Eleanor, Louis and Harry were on their way up in a hotel elevator. Eleanor made some choice comments about the way Harry spoke, namely that he spoke “so slowly” and therefore “sounded retarded.” I know. Let’s take a moment to mentally bash our heads in. If this is a true event, then in one breath, Eleanor managed to insult Harry, who’s being perfectly good to her, and for the kicker she also makes fun of retarded people who speak in a slow manner.
What. Even.
But Louis was not about to give up the sass queen throne. He shot back a quick, “Shut your goddamn mouth, Eleanor.”
Praise. That. Bitch.
Seriously, Louis sticking up for Harry was really brave seeing as he was badmouthing his girlfriend in public where someone could hear them. And obviously someone did or we wouldn’t be hearing about it now.
Let’s go over some implications though.
- This was during the second time she was in the US with the boys. By this time she had over half a million Twitter followers, not to mention blogs, twitters and who knows what else dedicated to her.
- The one thing that stands in the way of Larry paradise is her (think Elounor shippers, “he can’t be gay, he’s got a girlfriend”). Management knows this, so for Louis and Harry, the stakes are high as fuck. Combine her popularity amongst Elounor shippers with the fact that she scares Louis and Harry, and you’ve got one pretty entitled Eleanor. She knows she’s got it in good with management and Louis and Harry depend on her to cover. So she runs her mouth & buys clothes & Starbucks & goes on expensive trips because pretending to be a girlfriend is exhausting goddammit.
And so, Eleanor thinks she can get away with murder as long as she tweets nice things and wears pretty clothing. Until one day when she steps out of line, not only blowing the “Harry and I are besties and he introduced me to his other bestie who I started dating” cover by being immeasurably rude to Harry, she crossed it with Louis, too. And before she can shove the words back into her “goddamn mouth,” Louis has already stepped in, defended Harry and cut Ms. Calder back down where she belongs.
Louis deserves all the applause.
